Oktoberfest at the Jackson YMCA - Don’t miss out on the fun!

Cookout
The Jackson YMCA is celebrating the month of October with two fun special events and a month long membership special. Join us for our Oktoberfest Cookout on October 1st from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. We will be grilling brats and hot dogs (courtesy of Bella Note Ristorante) and serving cold delicious draft root beer. Both will be just $1.00 each! Enjoy great food (yes, there will be sauerkraut!), music, and the outdoors during your lunch, and come in to the YMCA for a quick tour of the facility and a free dessert at Chip’s Place.

Family Fun Night
A free Family Fun Night will take place Wednesday October 1st from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Activities will include brats and root beer for $1.00 in the YMCA parking lot, DJ Mike Holiday spinning tunes, and free games for the kids. There will also be free PickleBall, family swim time, drop-in volleyball, karaoke and crafts in the Duncan Beaman Lounge and a free fitness class sampler. Try our newest fitness classes including Drums Alive, Zumba, and Boot Camp! This will be a fun night for the whole family and a great opportunity to experience what your YMCA has to offer.

Membership Special
The Oktoberfest Cookout and Family Fun Night are the kickoff for the October Membership Special. Throughout the month of October, the join fee will correspond with the date on the calendar. On October 1st, the join fee will be just one dollar! New members can save up to $99! Members who refer new members will receive a free month of membership without dues. Tell your friends!

Trunk-R-Treat!
Join us for the 5th annual Partnership Park Trunk-R-Treat. Pull your car into our parking lot at 5:30 p.m. on Friday Oct. 31st and provide Jackson kids with a safe place to trick or treat. Bring the whole family. Trunks must arrive at 5:30 p.m. Treats will be distributed from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. (or when the treats run out). Last year over 600 kids attended. Trunk-R-Treat is a safe alternative to door-to-door trick or treating. Dress up, decorate your trunk and come see all of the adorable children prance from car to car. Not able to sponsor a trunk? DONATE CANDY! Candy donations are being accepted at the front desk. For more information contact Shawna Tello or Cathy Thick at 784-YMCA.
